Sweat is wicked away from skin to the outside of the fabric where it spreads out to many times its original surface area and rapidly evaporates, making drying at least 2 times faster than cotton. This technical fabric provides very good sun protection (UPFI5), is machine washable, and dries very quickly. GRIZZLY FLEECE® fabrics provide not only outstanding warmth without weight, but are highly breathable, and quick drying to minimize heat loss, providing the right level of insulation for most outdoor activities. GRIZZLY FLEECE® fabrics maintain their insulating ability and non pilling appearance after repeated laundering. ARCTIC TECH® fabrics provide complete wind and waterproof protection, enabling you to stay dry and comfortable with a single layer. This performance fabric is waterproof due to the polymer membrane fused to the backside of the shell fabric. This thin durable membrane prevents wind and rain from penetrating the fabric. The shell fabric is also treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish so that water beads up on the surface and rolls off. STORMBLOC® WEATHER SHIELD® fabrics are the next generation of technical outerwear—The Soft Shell. These fabrics are designed to replace traditional shell and fleece systems, reducing the weight and number of layers needed to insulate and protect. They are extremely abrasion resistant for long lasting durability, highly breathable to prevent overheating, water resistant with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish, and stretchable to enhance your outdoor experience. TUNDRA TECH® fabrics combine complete wind and waterproof protection with outstanding breathability, enabling you to stay dry and comfortable with fewer layers. This performance fabric is waterproof and breathable due to the polymer membrane fused between the outer shell and the lining. This thin durable membrane prevents wind and rain from penetrating the fabric, but allows moisture vapor from perspiration to escape through microscopic pores. The polyester shell is also treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish so that water beads up on the surface and rolls off.
